At Haley J., color is at the heart of everything we do. We lead with a color first design philosophy where the hue itself dictates the story before a single sketch of a silhouette is ever made.
I start with hues, not outlines. I study how tones interact, how they make me feel, and what story they are telling. Only then does a design begin to take shape.
For Haley J., that story begins with two colors: pink and orange.
Why Pink and Orange
The choice of pink and orange as our signature colors was far from accidental.
These two colors are deeply rooted in my personal palette and my identity, both as a designer and as an individual. They are colors I have always been drawn to and never tire of. Their possibilities are truly endless.
A soft pink evokes a completely different feeling than a vibrant, bright pink. The same principle applies to orange, which can shift from high energy to soft warmth depending on the tone. Two colors. Infinite expressions.
That range is exactly what drew me to them. And it is exactly what makes them the perfect foundation for Haley J.
Color as Self Expression
Pink and orange are more than a color combination, they are a point of view.
Color is personal. It is emotional. That shift in feeling, from one tone to the next, is what I am always chasing when I design.
Every color I choose is intentional and every tone is considered. Because the right shade does more than complete an outfit, it transforms how you carry yourself.
What Comes Next
While pink and orange will always be the foundation of my brand, the beauty of color theory is that there is always more to explore.
As Haley J. continues to grow, you can expect our color palette to expand. New combinations, new stories, and new ways to use color as a form of self-expression.
The goal will always remain the same. To use color as a powerful, intentional tool that helps you show up exactly as you are.
Xo, Haley J.
