When I think of timeless luxury and classic Hollywood glamour, The Beverly Hills Hotel immediately comes to mind.
I have always drawn inspiration from past eras, and there is something about the hotel’s retro glamour that feels like a natural extension of Haley J. From the signature pink exterior to the iconic banana leaf wallpaper, it is bold, recognizable, and completely unapologetic.
When my PR team suggested it as the setting for our newest shoot, it immediately clicked.
A New Kind of Essential
With the new Haley J. essentials collection, I wanted to show that everyday pieces do not have to feel basic.
This collection is built around clean silhouettes, rich color, and pieces designed to move easily through everyday life while still feeling elevated.
The Beverly Hills Hotel felt like the perfect place to tell that story. Pairing our newest essentials with such an iconic backdrop reinforced something I have always believed: true luxury is not reserved for special occasions. It can, and should, be part of your everyday life.
One of my favorite moments was seeing our new silk flutter top photographed in signature Haley J. baby pink in front of the Beverly Hills Hotel sign.
I designed the top with versatility in mind, as a true staple that can be dressed up or down effortlessly. Seeing it in that setting captured so much of what I love about the Haley J. woman: a love of color, confidence, and really good clothes.
A Different View From Behind the Scenes
I had originally planned to be in Los Angeles for the shoot, but as I got closer to my due date with my second baby girl, my travel plans had to change.
Instead, I watched the entire shoot through FaceTime.
It was definitely not how I imagined experiencing such an important day, but it ended up being one of my favorite parts. Watching the photographer, model, and PR team understand the vision and bring it to life so beautifully was everything I could ask for as a founder.
And honestly, seeing my designs professionally photographed never gets old. I still get teary-eyed every time.
I pour so much of myself into every silhouette, fabric, color, and detail. Seeing these pieces come to life in such an iconic setting was surreal and such a special reminder of how grateful I am to do what I love every day.
